Welcome to Phoenix Gymnastics Centre in Peterborough.

Phoenix Gymnastics Centre is a not for profit gym located in Peterborough situated in Maxwell Road in Woodston, owned by Vic who started the club in February 2014. We are a British Gymnastics affiliated club. Phoenix Gymnastics Centre is committed to the safety and development of the children who are members of the club. We provide sessions for all ages and abilities, from preschool to performance.

Home Education

Every Thursday 9:30am -11:00am ( Except School Holiday's ) Price £8 Per Child Cash Payment Only

Unicorns and Griffins

Unicorns and Griffins are our 4, 5 and 6 year olds! These are age appropriate classes, learning gymnastics through fun and games.

Gymmies

These are parent and child classes on a Monday from 12:15-1pm.

Development Team

You have the basics and are working towards being a competitive gymnast across all four pieces- By invitation only

Recreational, Recreational Advanced & Novice Classes

Learning the basics of gymnastics- whether its the shapes you need or coaching through the skills on Floor, Bars, Vault and Beam- the classes are set by age and ability

Squad

You are a competitive gymnast, regularly competing at competitions- by invitation only

Boy's Gymnastics

We are well equipped for boy's that want to progress for all 6 pieces. We work hard on our strength and shaping required in this physically demanding sport.

Rhythmic Gymnastics

Performing routines with music, either as individuals or in groups, rhythmic gymnasts amaze audiences with their astonishing skill with hand-held apparatus: Hoop, Ball, Clubs, Ribbon and Rope.

We have members and coaches from all over the world, to provide high-quality gymnastics for all ages.

We have many years of experience in both Men’s and women’s artistic gymnastics.

Our head coach Vic has over 40 years of experience, as a gymnast and a coach. He supports all the coaches, some with many years of experience themselves to create programmes that bring out the best in our gymnasts. Many of our gymnasts enjoy competing and while we don’t always win the medals we try to focus on the team, the performance skills, the courage and the fun aspects of competing.

Competing at the highest level is not about winning. It’s about preparation, courage, understanding and nurturing your people, and heart. Winning is the result.
